What we offer
Lessons
We specialize in English dressage training with a focus on balanced seat riding, helping riders to build a solid foundation for any equestrian pursuit. Lessons will include pre/post-ride horse care and tacking/untacking instruction until students are able to perform these tasks independently.
Private Lessons
Lessons are available 7 days a week on our well-trained school master horses and ponies. Each lesson is 45 minutes in length. Students who can independently prepare their horse for lesson may arrive up to 30 minutes early to groom, tack and warm up their horse prior to the scheduled lesson time. Please allow an additional 15-30 minutes post-lesson for cool down and tack cleaning.
Cost: $75/lesson
Semi-Private Lessons
Semi-private lessons are available in groups of 2-3 students at trainer discretion. Students must be able to groom, tack, walk and trot independently before joining a group.
Cost: $65/lesson
Horsemanship Camps/On Farm Shows
Horsemanship is about so much more than riding! We encourage all riders, especially newer equestrians to enroll in our monthly camps to learn about all things horses. From grooming, to farm management, to horse showing, to veterinary care and everything in between, each monthly course will focus on a new topic.
Horse Boarding
Limited full boarding slots are available for Legato Farm students. Board includes full use of facilities feed 2x per day, blanketing, feed through fly control program, stall mucking, turn out and holding for vet/farrier (if farm vet/farrier are used).

Horse Leasing/Sales
Owning a horse is big commitment! We encourage all Legato Farm riders interested in potential horse ownership to consider a lease. Many of our lesson horses and ponies are available for partial leases to enable students to learn if horse ownership is right for them, without the risk and expense of owning a horse outright.
General Leasing Conditions for Legato Farm Horses and Ponies:
All leases are “partial leases” and run for a 6-month time period. The lease fee is paid on a monthly basis and may be cancelled at any time with 30-days notice. The lessee is entitled to 3 rides per week including one mandatory lesson (fees apply).
